Brown, grey or black tinted lenses
Tinted lenses in brown, grey or black have a particularly high colour fidelity. This has the advantage that they distort the colour perception of your surroundings the least compared to other tints. These colours can therefore provide universal glare protection for numerous activities. Glasses in these colour variations are suitable for beach holidays, city trips in southern countries and also for the local summer months. Even as everyday glasses you can wear glasses of this tint without any problems. Sunglasses with a tint of brown or grey provide a high level of colour fidelity and therefore never look obtrusive. In addition to optimal protection against UV rays, the tinted lenses also ensure that you can keep an overview while driving. The colour-fastness also makes the lenses roadworthy - with other glass colours, traffic lights and brake lights could be overlooked due to distorted colour reproduction.
Orange and red tinted lenses
With sunglasses with orange or red tinted lenses, you are perfectly equipped for outdoor sports. The two colours increase contrast, especially in green surroundings. An orange or red, light tint accordingly ensures optimum vision even in shady wooded areas, as it optimally balances out light and shadow changes. It protects the eye well from the sun's rays when jogging, cycling or climbing - even in snowy areas.
Yellow tinted lenses
Yellow tinted glasses experienced their first big boom in the 90s, when they were indispensable for techno parties in dark clubs. Not only the fashion aspect was decisive, but also the colour fastness. For better night vision, yellow lenses and all other lenses are best tinted below 25% or self-tinting lenses to ensure clear vision even in a dark environment. In broad daylight, however, it is better to use a different tint, as yellow lenses allow a lot of UV rays to pass through.
Blue tinted lenses
The advantage of sunglasses with blue lenses is above all a clear view. Your visual impression becomes cooler and richer in contrast. In snowy areas, the blue tint gives you particularly strong contrasts. But don't wear the blue tint in traffic - a disadvantage of blue lenses is that you can't see orange because of these traffic obstacles. For road traffic, it's better to use a brown, grey or black tint.
